The sky continues to offer incredible views, worlds that hover above ours and animate visions of landscapes we can reach, at least with the mind.

The Moon stands out in the afternoon sky
The cloud belts of a distant Jupiter
The border between lunar day and night is stark
Desolate fields and hills seen from our comfortable vantage point
A crater partially flooded with hardened lava creates a feature visually similar to a bay here on Earth
Here, the divide between night and day highlights the craters, accentuating the depth of hills and craters
The Moon’s beautiful limb, the sharp divide between the desolate rock and the desolate void
A surprised Sun!

I’m a student investigating the complexities of the cosmos and of our society, two facets of reality shaping our understanding of the universe.
